According to the addendum for tomorrow morning's town council meeting, Carol Kelley will replace her late husband Bob on the Quartzsite Town Council and be sworn in at the 9 am meeting.
Plunder and theft, it runs in the family! Of course Carol gets the nod. After all, you gotta put someone in who can't win an election.

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what happens next in Quartzsite! I just feel sorrow for the poor taxpayers that are getting fleeced by the crooks and will have to pay for all of the lawsuits. What will you folks do when you can't qualifiy for insurance or receive state funding?

ReplyDeleteAnother commenter who believes state funding is not taxpayer funds but Santa Clause. We need Art Linkletter back, only this time to feature: "Adults say the dumbest things."
If we were to lose our insurance through the municipal high risk pool, we could not remain incorporated, current debt would be dumped on the property owners, the arguably equally dysfunctional county would take over, and we would have to form a water district to protect our rights...
