Something smells funny about 208 early ballots cast for Lizarraga and he wins by 59 votes. I hope someone looks into that.I wouldn’t normally say something like that but after watching the politics in your town for the past few months I wouldn’t trust anyone counting the early ballots if I lived there.
This is what's significant. Who are all the "Early Voters"? What type of coercion took place to get them to submit their votes? How many elderly do you have in your community that could be manipulated or taken advantage of?
I saw on the news that Mayor Foster lost by only 59 votes. His opponent received 289 votes with 203 of them coming from just over 300 early ballots. Statistically that seems highly unlikely. Something stinks here.
Oooooops! I wrongly assumed the guy speaking in the video was the next mayor! I had a mental break down to think some one other than Ed Foster was a honest elected offical in your township!
Why doesn't someone demand a recount? It's my understanding that anyone on the ballot, or an appointed rep., has the right to be present when/where votes are counted as well as at the polling places. This might help.
Also it appears there might be voter apathy, or a lack of registered voters. Before the next elections, perhaps door-to-door canvassing to register voters and provide them later with absentee ballots if unable to travel, will present a more fair election process.
Bottom line, vote them all out on their next election cycle.

It doesn't matter who casts the votes.It matters who counts the votes.
